Live Beta

Privacy Policy

StegoPets uses uploaded images to generate game creatures and Stego food. The live beta does not intentionally store original full-resolution uploaded images in the mint registry. Account features may store small source-image thumbnails for saved StegoPets and Stego Fridge food, so players can recognise their own creations across devices. Public gallery source thumbnails are shared only when the player explicitly opts in.

StegoPets records privacy-light visitor and gameplay metrics so the beta can be monitored after public posts. This includes anonymous visit counts, referral host, page path, account signups, mints, battles, gallery actions, reports, and food actions. Analytics do not store original uploaded images, full source image content, or full browser user-agent strings.

The server stores generated StegoPet records, generated food records, stats, public certificate data, duplicate counters, account records, saved roster/fridge records, feeding streaks, and moderation reports.

Generated StegoPet records may include derived metadata such as public commitments, type, stats, moves, traits, and sprite recipes. These are used for gameplay, verification, moderation, and admin review.

Do not upload images containing private, illegal, abusive, sexual, exploitative, or non-consensual content. If content is reported, administrators may review the generated StegoPet record and remove related mint/account records.

Accounts are beta accounts. Passwords are stored as salted hashes. Admins can reset passwords and delete accounts on request or for safety/moderation reasons.
